The Bellagio FountainsHi all
just wanted to say thanks for all the info from the forum - i'm off tomorrow at 5.55am
Got the cheap flights from Expedia.com.au flying from Glasgow - San Fransisco for £154 ages ago and then booked Virgin US from SFO to Vegas for £40pp. Been to Vegas twice before so hoping to relax a bit more this time?!
Doing 12 nights Vegas (8 at the Signature, 4 at Grandview) then onto LA for 2 nights, Cambria 1 night, Monterey 1 night and then San Fran for 5 nights.
Got lots of shows booked too: Blue Man, O, Phantom, Boxing, Baseball etc so will report back when I return...if I can still stand!
Thanks again for all the help!If at first you don't succeed - destroy all evidence that you tried.0 -
The Bellagio Fountainshave a nice trip alictait - looking forward to hearing about it when you're back!Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0

The Bellagio FountainsDont look at it as a 12 hour stop over look at it as a day out in a new city :j:beer:Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0

Don't want sleazy as she won't go for that at all
Thanks guys! I cant wait for april 29th!!! COME ON!!!
if you want a traditional Vegas show girl show then Jubilee is the way to go IMO. it is not sleazy at all and has some great intermission acts as well .

I have never seen Jubilee at the half price booths and tickets cost around $88 so spending as little as $37 to get a whole book of great coupons is Quite the deal . given your looming departure date it might best for you to collect the book in person at their office's in LVBetter in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
I wondered if anyone knew how easy it is to get tickets for sold out concerts?
The Killers are playing later this month in the Hard Rock (18/4) and would love to see them.
Are the ticket touts outside these type of gigs or is it better to go via the ebay route?0 -

I saw Jubilee with my in-laws in October...was a bit worried that it would be weird seeing all the boobies with my FIL (hubby, oddly, had no interest and let the three of us go on his own). I agree that it's not at all sleazy, though I did actually more enjoy the acts between sets. The coupon states that it's only good for the late show (10:30 pm) but you never know, they might accept it for the earlier show. I haven't seen Jubilee at the 1/2 price booths either, so think Trets is absolutely correct that if you're planning on seeing Jubilee, you may as well subscribe to LVA as the Jubliee voucher will save you more than the cost of membership.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

The Bellagio FountainsJust found out that the Miss USA finals are at PH while we're there! 19th April. Sadly, I cannot justify $75/ticket for the last row of the mezzanine, in case anyone is interested they're being sold on ticketmaster.
Oddly, while I was an absolute tomboy growing up I was fascinated by the Miss USA pageant and LOVED watching it every year...if tickets were cheaper or better seats were available, I have absolutely no doubt I would go to this (with or without my husband).Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Hello,
I'm not too sure how easy it is to get tickets for this via ticket touts but we are going to this concert.
We tried getting tickets from the very start when they went on presale and then when they went on general but with no luck so we had to go the Ebay route, We were a bit uncertain to start with as there are quite a few other ticket sites that were selling them for silly money but the 2 we got from Ebay were the hard tickets.Paid $260 for the 2 which roughly works out about £90 each and the seller gave us free P+P which was good as a few we saw on Ebay were trying for $30-$40:eek: (actual postage to us was $1.64) Tickets came within 3 days of buying them. But like anything you bid for on Ebay just be careful.0 -

Dowsy, will you stop bloody bragging that you are going to see the Killers!!!
(where is the smilie for envy)
BTW make sure you go out to Sams Town and have your picture taken in front of the sign. we are going to do that for sure. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0
