Glad it arrived OK - not sure if it would be worth contacting them to see if they can add your Express number to the booking? I think pebbles said before she books through a 3rd party and just goes down to the Express booth and they sort her out there - but maybe worth checking if you can add it to the booking in advance? If they have your number associated with the booking they will already have printed out your contract when you arrive...not a massive time savings, but maybe something.
We also always rent a car - just so much more convenient and so much more freedom...but driving in the US isn't an issue for me, when I know some don't like the idea!
Thanks, have just emailed Dollar with my Virgin E-Voucher and advised them of my Dollar Express number, so hopefully they can tie them up and speed it up even more !0 -
We are staying overnight at Manchester before our flight to las vegas on Sunday. Doe BMI still operate its evening checkin - is it worth it - eg best choice of seats- what time does it open and close.
You should be able to choose your seats in advance if you give BMI a call. We reserved ours in January (flying in 2 weeks), so maybe worth a call.
Regarding the check-in, this is taken from the BMI website:
long haul night before check-in+
check-in for your long haul flight the evening before you fly
open between 19:00 and 21:00hrs at the bmi check-in desk 23 in Terminal 3
Might try this out myself this time, will certainly save getting to the airport 3hrs before departure.0 -

Suggest having https://www.seatguru.com open with the plane configuration in front of you whether you call or do it online to be sure you're picking the best of what's available. Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Yes, although I'm a bit nervous doing it online myself, just incase I do something stupid and cancel the flight !
In fact, just logged in and seen the following:

Oh dear, will be giving them a call now to see what's up.
EDIT: No problem, BMI just re-confirmed our seats are still the same, PHEW !0 -

You probably tried to choose premium seats that only go to higher tier frequent fliers or something.
FWIW, I don't think you could cancel the flight completely without being warned what you were doing several times. Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

The Bellagio Fountains:mad: Well not only can you only PM one person at a time, you have to wait 4 mins between sending PM's. I can understand that it is to help prevent spamming, but 4 mins is a bit excessive.

Having been quite busy PM'ing recently (due to the demand for Wynn/Encore link) I encountered this issue and have to say that it makes life very difficult! But, I suppose its there for a reason - I didnt notice that my messages hadnt gone at first... I then resorted to posting the "Updates" on the normal link!
