.. or do most of us "Vegas-ites" love our food?!!..

It's not just you...I mentioned to my husband last week that we have 8 nights in Vegas and just based on conversations we've had recently about places we 'must' go this trip we have 7 evening meals on our 'must do' list and we're still about a month away from our trip. :)

I also really look forward to the free refills on soft drinks...it's a minor thing, but it pleases me to no end. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    !!! For $6 that's just crazy - ignoring any 2-for-1 coupons out there. :)

Hi, i just wondered what people thought of this deal to Las Vegas posted on Travelzoo's top 20 deals of the week.
It's flights and 5 nights in the Bellagio hotel for £530 in June, i know that flights with Virgin are usually more than that at that time of year, so it seems like a good deal.
Are there any catches i should be aware of? I can only think of the flight not being direct.
Would it still be cheaper if i booked everything separately?
If i did want to go with it i have to book by March 16th so i'd really appreciate any advice.

Find out who the flight's with an price it direct, then price the Bellagio. It sounds like at good deal to me, but that will be with a connection and not direct.

Love love love the food in Vegas.

We went for our 'delayed' honeymoon a couple of years ago and are now thinking of planning our next trip for the back end of this year.

    Favourites

    Ellis Island

    Peppermill

    Ihop

    Fatburger

    Not that impressed

The Paris restaurant on top of the eiffel tower, bit too 'posh' for us and the fact I nearly ended up face down asleep in my pudding (jetlag hit at 100 miles an hour).Which was a shame, as this was our 'special' honeymoon dinner and that cost more than the others combined.:D

The mega seafood buffet, can't remember where but will hunt back and find out. Such a disappointment, rude and inefficient staff really spoiled it for me plus my OH can't stand seafood and I think the oysters were the finishing touch and sent him over the edge.:rotfl:Yum.

    Didn't get to but tried!

In and Out burger, set off walking but it was like the mountains of mordor to get to so gave up after 3 [strike]days[/strike] miles.:D

Stayed at what is now 'Wild Bill's' and debating whether to go there again, due to location but then we're thinking we NEED to experience different hotels.

Was the Seafood buffet at the Rio? It has been refurbished in the last year, but I still think it's over priced. Many dinner buffets have crab legs and other seafood offerings as a matter of course. (Not usually lobster though.)

Yep that's the one, shame really as I really looked forward to it but it was a bit like a cattle market, spoiled it....that and my OH retching at my oysters.:rotfl:

Question to anyone about THOSE pancakes, well especially the Apple one from Ferf.

We really must try one this upcoming trip.

Where can I find an IHOp or Original PH.?

Have a car so its not a problem being off the strip

We normally tie a trip to the Original Pancake House to a visit to Green Valley Ranch (there's one inside the casino)..then we normally head along to Sunset Station area WalMart to do some shopping there and Galleria Mall...so really, it's purely a matter of convenience for us (well, me) to partake of the apple pancake on our way to do some shopping. :) Don't forget restaurant.com vouchers - 80% off at the moment, code is MENU. The GVR one is the one on Paseo Verde though there are others. There are menus on restaurant.com with prices too.
