You lot have got me wishing my life away! My friend and I have decided to go for a 5 night ramsammy in September but none of the deals are available for then it seems so keep wishing we were in April or May! Thanks though for all the tips everyone, it'll be my 3rd time and her 2nd but loads of stuff on here I didn't know about.

Theres a few for early September in here, Im looking at 5 nights from Sept 6, although being in the US elsewhere before and then doing one night (Sunday) at old town, any recomendations? Then 4 nights at The Mirage which has a good price, Mandaly Bay isnt the best location but also has some great prices.

A shopping question for you all........thinking of going to either the las vegas outlet center or thelas vegas premuim outlet, the first is south of the luxor and the later questioned is between stratosphere and downtown. just wondering which one people prefer and what would be the better one to go to? I'd imagine both outlets have got exactly the same stores as each other but im happy to hear peoples views please?

Without a doubt the one between stratosphere and downtown.
Me and the Mrs loved it there and found loads of bargins - although we did get $2 to £1. Great brands from Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Gap Outlet, Guess etc...

The one south of Mandaly Bay (10 mins drive) was a bit cheaper and tacky with less reputable brands.

haha, I bloody love the Tournament of Kings! :)

the food was a right laugh!....
....doesn't my wife look just beautiful in this picture! :D ... anyways, had a mini-roast chicken, a chunk of broccoli and some potatoe wedges and bread... oh, and a pint of 'dragons blood' :)

(btw, thanks to whoever posted the link to Virgin Car Hire --- worked out £30 cheaper for a Dodge Charger with them! :) sweet! -- i know i could have price matched with CarHire3000 but at least I can moan at Dickie Branson if they let me down :D )

How do people find the Tournament of Kings - we meant to do it on our trip last year but couldnt fit it in but are planning on going back this September and doing it then.

It's been a tough decision as my dad died suddenly 4 weeks ago of a heart attack (only 47 :embarasse ) so we thought it may be better for the family to have it here. But it's our day in the end and this is what we've alway fancied.

Think we both like the bellagio wedding chappel we will have to wait and see.

Now we have to have a think about where to have a meal afterwards :o

for my friends wedding we had dinner at Aureole (might be spelt wrong) in Mandaly Bay and it was very nice. Sorry for the multiple posts cant find the multiquote button

I think you need to re-sign up for your MGM emails. That info was sent out via email almost 4 weeks ago, with bookings being taken from Feb23rd!

...for those wanting to sample CityCenter before December, the Vdara is taking booking for October.

interesting to see that the Aria casino will have windows letting natural light in!

... on the subject of MGM emails, i've signed up a few times for them and they still dont send me any :( their loss!

re: Tournament of Kings, I found it just to be a fun show :) it was a few years ago when we went but they split the crowd up into about 6 or 7 sections and we all got our own 'king' to support so there was a lot of banter going on :)

Sorry everyone as I know this info has already been posted but for the life of me I cant find where. I have searched this forum and cant find it.

It was info on a company giving a dollar rate of 1.48 till the end of June or something like that, does anyone know where that info is or who the company is please ?

Cage: was it crown currency exchange? their rate changes frequently - currently nowhere near that:
http://www.crowncurrencyexchange.com/content/us-dollars.asp

however tomorrow is another day! :) and if things start to look more positive, their rates tend to reflect that

(research the company and make sure you are happy with them incidently, as you can only pay by cheque or bank transfer so no comebacks if things go pearshaped...)

hope that helps
