The one we usually use is at Rainbow and Spring Mountain and is a Supercenter. You can get the bus from the side of the Fashion Show Mall to it if you don't have a car. I think it is the 203 and runs every 20 mins or half an hour. Get a 24 hour pass on the bus. There's also a big 99 cents store nearby. I believe there are 10 Wal-Marts in the Vegas area.

That's the one we went to, but I wasn't impressed. Bear in mind that I don't like shopping although I can tolerate it away from home.

There was a Target nearby which we didn't visit last time as I was shopped out within half an hour at Walmart, but I am intending visiting it this trip.

Yes, they do steaks, chicken, salads, burgers, etc. They usually have a special on where you buy a breakfast($5.00) and you get a large portion of strudel with it. I have the brekkie and Tracy has the sweet stuff.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

No, it's OK, my hair IS pretty bad in that picture. :)

I suppose that photo shows what we mean when we say that portions are on the far side of enormous...and why 2 meals a day is pretty much all most can manage...some days we only have one proper meal, even.

Our scanner is broken but I do plan to post the picture of the Peppermill ham & eggs when it's fixed tomorrow...and hopefully Pebbles can post hers of Ellis Island's so we can compare. :)

for anyone who's had Red Card offers from Wynn by email before check your Wynn Visit Planner as they have released April and May offers (at least my husband's has updated)...you've never seen two people move so fast for the phone in your life...only one date worked for us and last time this happened by the time we called they were sold out on the offers for that date...so happily this time it worked and we'll have a free night at Encore and $100 in slot play. So excited! And I am 100% convinced it's only because of the hotels.co.uk misprice posted here in 2007 which we took advantage of - that's the only night we have given Wynn any significant play (and then only my husband as I went up to the room to 'rest' about 9pm and fell asleep until about 6am), since then it's only been in passing that we've played at Wynn...so thanks again to whoever it was who posted that hotels.co.uk deal. :)
