Are WHSmith actually in trouble ? Last lot of results they published (in November) showed that they were bucking the trend and not doing too bad. Also - they were moving away from CDs / DVD sales and back to the magazine / stationery side of things

Hopefully, this whole fiasco with Zavvi will make people see sense and stop buying vouchers. the thing is, given the current economic climate,it could be any big name on the high street...i think i know who it is that is going down the crapper though, from what i have heard at my crimbo job, its clinton cards as they are in trouble + losing a lot of money year on year. but thats just what i have heard.0

i think its really sad to see quite a number of high street reyailers hitting the wall. i only got a boots card now and it has 4.50 on it. i spent the last 40 odd quid on a something special for me.Jan 2015 GC £267/£260
