You can't make jelly with kiwifruit, it has the same funny enzymes as pineapple, so it won't set.Mortgage started on 22.5.09 : £129,600Overpayments to date: £3000June grocery challenge: 400/6000

I've a bowlful of oranges, apples, pears and kiwi fruit that's looking a bit, err, ripe  and apart from throwing it at SWMNBM
, I've no idea what to do with it. I've had a trawl of Rosieben's fruit section of the mega-index (Ihave, honest!) but haven't seen anything in there. No doubt there is but being from the Land of the Terminally Dim, I missed it
Can't do smoothies or anything like that 'coz all the kitchen gadgets have strangely disappeared  , the freezer is full of meat and similar stuff as I'm denying myself treats as of 3 weeks ago (sad but true, paying off debts comes first ). I really hate throwing anything vaguely edible in the bin so if anyone has any suggestions, I await.
Thanks all.

Having found the recipe, I'm quite tempted to have a go.
Is it okay to use all the fruits and do they need the "bad" bits cutting off first?
