  • Goldspanners and Jeannie, your focus fantasy may well be a faster car, and for those that wear tracky bottoms and trainers and their baseball caps backwards they may well be a wonderful car.

But the classy femininity that a proper poised and pretty sports car with an equally feminine woman at the wheel will always be the dreamy combination, whether you appreciate the associated overtones or not.
In times gone by the classy lady would ride a beautiful horse, but in a feminine way, and thanks goodness...vive la difference.
The not so classy lady would drive the horse drawn barge, wearing dungarees..;)

Now that Boxter you saw being hammed up, can you see the reason, its in the post....unable to discern the gender.
My lovely wife whom is as adorable and lovely as is possible in woman, would have looked the business driving that, the dress, the heels you name it, and don't for one minute doubt it would have shown all around a clean exhaust.

That Porsche was feeling poorly having a driver of indeterminate gender when it was designed as a car to bring out the natural extremes in both sexes.

Flippin eck i do go on.
  • I've heard people say it looks good in the green and I have seen the pics, but it looks a bit 'chav' to me. I think the ST looks cheap in the orange, very Essex. Which is why glad son didn't pick that colour .. :D he hated it too.
it is,but i think thats part of the appeal the RS always had.

To me - and forget my age for the moment please, - the RS has to be ice white with the (Rothmans) fine dark blue lines, but only along the bottom. Over the roof is major naff.

You sound like a true gent sir...

I visualise your lady in a vintage sporty car (dark green) circa 1930's, floaty dress, straw hat, punnet of strawberries, a neatly turned ankle, red lipstick, raven black hair swept back under the hat. Jeeves is ready to open the car door for her..........

  • the new focus rs looks best in frozen white black or performance blue
i have had two new st's in the blue and one in frozen white but a jump up to 25k for a ford focus is a bit much
i will wait and see how they depreciate and how long it takes before ford offer them on privelige with a 1k deposit allowance
remember it is nice to be important
but more important to be nice ;)
