Cmon Jeannieblue, a fast car it may be, but its a hot hatch , not a sports car.

And its....front..wheel..drive..(hang on while i wash me mouth out with soap and water, yuk!), and not really a lovely young lady's sports car.

A girls dream of a sports car should look and be delicately poised, fine and curvaceous, be a dreamy colour and light, fast and nimble to drive, and most important be RWD...

Of course i wouldn't dream of reminiscing back to when young ladies drove MG midgets and Triumph spitfire's etc and wore.....hang on i must go and lie down in a darkened room...;)
    Stop dribbling.............

Us ladies are wising up a bit - surely its the middle aged guys that are lusting over sports cars now.

I would still plump for the RS over the sporty efforts - and I would leave them standing...

Which reminds me, I was out today and a 'thing' (couldn't tell the sex), pulled away all dramatically in a Boxster and really c*cked it up, wet road, wheel spin and moved about 2 inches....... as you can imagine, everyone was so impressed or laughing - you decide...

this is where your wisdom ends i see gilly? :p
the focus RS will be amazing, i have every faith in fords RS division, they make beautiful legendary cars,ok its front wheel drive but so was the last focus, and the last escort RS turbo and have all faired well.
i like the look of the new RS but its out of my current budget even if its only £25k. they wont even do priviledge discount on it either.

jeanie i see your getting gilbert all hot and bothered at the thought of your drving an MG.
dont worry i know you wouldnt touch an MG ;)
I know I am only young....

    but...

I had an MGB roadster ..........

    Chrome bumpers..........

    Goldie, he's now salivating, right?

Edit: I sold it cos my Old English Sheepdog grew out of it, I couldn't see 'left' anymore............. she took up so much room on the passenger seat..........

    goldie,

have you seen the photo's online of the new RS? They are a tad illegal, but I prefer it in the blue. (judging by the reg plate, pics taken in cologne). Its GORGEOUS!

We are going back a good few years now.......... it was orange, guess around early to mid seventies. No idea of engine size, but it shifted... :D

If its important I could dig out some old photo's and you could work it out.

I've heard people say it looks good in the green and I have seen the pics, but it looks a bit 'chav' to me. I think the ST looks cheap in the orange, very Essex. Which is why glad son didn't pick that colour .. :D he hated it too.
