Hi there, I have been reading this forum for a while now, I was just wondering if there is anyone who is waiting to be posted in the Birmingham area?

Hi, Been following this forum for a few days and found very informative.
I was just wondering if there is anyone who is waiting to be posted in Leicester?
I attended interview on 7th May and not heard anything yet.
Is it too soon to contact Newcastle?

Hi the post is Processing assistant IRC 56377 and Admin Officer IRC58777, I have been waiting since March for my Disclousure Scotland to come back For the first post but they forgot to countersign the first one and then mis-placed it, so I sent them a second one and now they have mis-placed that one too. Which post have you applied for?

IRC 56377 - Processing Assistant - I was unsuccesful
IRC 58777 - AO - BHAM & Solihull - Still waiting to hear from them - Have you heard from them? They only finished interviewing last Friday so letters should be sent out by the end of this week/early next week! - fingers crossed! - If they only finished interviewing last Friday - that must mean they have been interviewing people for 3 weeks because I was interviewed in the first week on 30 April

Where are you going to be based if you don't mind me asking? Sportfan, I was 2nd on the list but got delegated to 25 as I think some people whom they interviewed later may have got higher scores than me. My interview score was 39/45. Samesamebutdifferent, if you are 33 on the list and I am 25, why have they missed me out? It may be because you chose a location that I didn't select and that particular location has vacancies. I hope that's the reason anyway! I still can't get through with my HR Officer, I don't have an alternative number either. I just wanted to amend my application so jobcentres know to only contact me on my mobile and also wanted to know whether my position on the list has changed. Do you know of an alternative number? If so can you please private message me with it, ta!

Hi Guys!

I had an interview for an admin officer on the 1st May... and last week I received a letter telling me i'd been successful and that they are now carrying out my checks. There was no mention of a waiting list or anything in the letter...

Does anybody know roughly how long I could be waiting??
I've noticed that some of you managed to phone and find out where you are on the waiting list, does anybody know the number to phone?

I phoned the number on the letter they sent but the woman told me because they are that busy that I have to ask for that information in writing.

First post - hello everyone!
I was at the Holiday Inn for EO interview too - got a "success" letter two weeks ago. When I phoned up, they said it would be "a few weeks" to undertake checks, so just playing the waiting game at the moment.

This forum has been very useful, looks like a lot of us going through the same thing.
I'd applied for two AO positions in Chester and Shotton too - after interviews, I got the "waiting list" letter for one, and an "unsuccessful" for the other. So I guess I've got the full set now! :rolleyes:
