Well i applyed for an Admin Assistant postion back in July. After passing the tests and being informed of my success of the interview i was then sent my checks certificate 4 weeks later. Following this i waited several weeks before making several phone calls to different departments, is was only last week at my request that i was informed i was No 26 on the merit this however, this means nothing to me as nobody can say how soon, or how many indeviduals at one time they take on.
If any one can give me any more info i would be very greatful. position applyed for in Caerphilly South Wales0 -

Hi there! I went for the EO role for Cardiff/Caerphilly etc on July 31st. 60895. Success letter 18th August. Been 21 on list for ages. I know they have started posting people but they wont tell me anything. Just to wait. My staring at the mobile willing it to ring hasnt seemed to work so I have started keeping it in my bag. That hasn't worked either!!0 -
Hi Everyone,
CONGRATULATIONS to all those who have got a call or have already started work.

I just spoke (again) with Employee Services, apparently I have passed "all" checks, and been passed to the recruiting units.. this happened just over a week ago..
So does anyone have any idea how long between "passing of the list" and the magic phone call/letter/email??
I am due to sign on tomorrow, should I ask in person (my JCP is one of the ones I applied for)
Do you know what position you are on the list? Also what areas did you choose? This IRC was for all of Lancashire and Cumbria which is quite a large area. Therefore I suppose it all depends on how many people are before you on the list for those areas you chose. I am in the same position. I was 77th on the merit list but I do not know how many of them chose the same locations that I did. I think it is just a waiting game.0 -
Hi all, I had my first day today. I didn't do much as I can't begin training until I have my computer card, but all in all it was a nice gentle push back into work.
I am part of the Daso team - Diary Administrative support team. This team deals with scheduling and rescheduling appointments, such as the 13 week appointment, Income suppport review. It sounds pretty good and varied.
I was 1 in 3 people starting today at my branch with another starting in a fortnight which was nice. The morning was spent being shown around everywhere and introduced to people whose names I feel very sure I will never remember. After this we had a health and security talk - about what not to do etc.
Tomorrow I believe I am shadowing people.0 -

Hi all,
Congratulations to everyone in finally getting `the call`last week, to those starting their training this week and to you guys who started jobs elsewhere, you know who you are.....in your orange uniform!
I applied for IRC 60076 Birmingham way back in May. Like us all I have tried to get any information I could with loads of emails and phone calls, but I never received the news that we all hoped for........... UNTIL TODAY!!!!!
The phone rings, it`s a withheld number, guy asks am I still interested in the position, then he not only gives me a choice of office, but also asks what date I want to start!
So after 6 months of waiting I end up getting my first choice of office and start Monday 30th.0 -

:j:T_party_ I am so thrilled for you!!!! I hope they will call me soon too!!!!!!!!!I can do all things through him who gives me strength....:A0 -
Congrats to all who have had the call. Can I just mention to remember you're posting on a public forum, people have been mentioning job centre's they're working in, the names of their line managers, I would be very unhappy if I stumbled across this forum and found my name. Not to mention 'security matters' and 'keeping safe'
