I have to agree with scooterchick on this one. I have seen some names mentioned in a post that if I were the manager/workmate in question, I would quickly notice. It may have been done with no malicious intent but your manager may not view it as such.

Also, some descriptions of the office staff and goings on are graphic enough for the newbie to be recognised by work mates.

There was a post Sammy made where she mentioned the name of a manager whose husband she works with. My first thought was 'How risky is that?', then I thought maybe as Sammy is in DWP she knows it doesn't matter. So who knows? I know I would not want my name/description banded around in a public forum for whatever reason.

Well, just come back from my interview. Think it went o.k. Should find out tomorrow. Only a 6 month temp contract but will keep the wolves at the door !!

Congratulations to Leepy and still hoping and to all who have had "the call". Let us know how you get on Jessbob. Got my fingers crossed for you too.

Just going to get settled on the bench now and have a nosey around the forum.

I just got the call!! they are getting a manager to call me in the next couple of days with a start date which they say will probably be the beggining of next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-) Thanks to everyone for their contributions to this group....
