If you don't get this altered you will be paid as a part timer i.e. the 35.6 hours you have told them is your working pattern.
You need to complete a DWP LCWP1 ( retrospective change of working pattern) backdated to your starting date and attach it as a service request in RM.
Any line manager should be able to help you with this.

Thanks, will get onto that next week

hi everyone. congratulations to everyone who has had the call recently and to heather for her b & q job. i have just completed my 5th week with the dwp. first 3 weeks were spent training and i moved to my job centre last week. everyone has made me feel very welcome. spent last week sitting with the different advisors so i could follow a claim from the start. this week has been spent with the front line staff and yesterday i had my first day working on my own doing the fortnightly sign ons. really enjoyed it and had no problems putting my training into action

I didn't realise you had taken the one with the travel involved!

You might be working with a woman called Jeannie!

Not really :( but have now taken the tablets for five days and blisters are starting to scab over (sorry if that grosses anyone out - it does me!) so am no longer infectious and back to work tomorrow, really busytime of the month for me at work so no choice really and am bored rigid at home.

I don't really know anyone down in Hartshead but the J woman is the wife of someone that works with me.

Best of luck, I'm sure it'll be great.

Hey folks! My first day tomorrow as an AO at the Jobcentre. I am pretty nervous now lol. I have to report to my manager at 9.30 a.m. Nothing has been mentioned about training. Is it usually offsite? Hopefully I will find out more tomorrow. Just can't help wondering what I will be doing...

Well it is my first day a week on Monday, I am going on 4 weeks training first though, then onto my local job centre as an AO.

Good luck, hope it all goes well for you.
