Not yet...apparently my pre-recruitment checks are still taking place. My CRB is back with them, so it must be employment history...

Yes it will be interesting for you to be back at training centre and digest the feedback from the others.......I had to laugh yesterday (sorry!) when you mentioned about the chav! Its just exactly the sort of thing one hears at my local jobcentre (the signing on desks are 3 yards from the "waiting area" so one can't help but overhear). Strange that the folk you have been shadowing don't follow the process that the Manager is showing you.......perhaps when you have been there a while you start to cut corners? :eek:

Just to let u know, I had a call today from the District JC office and I start work in Caerphilly Job Centre on 23/11/2009.
This process all started in May 2009 so there is light at the end of the tunnel. Mind u this is has been with a lot of emails to a particular person in Newcastle. PM me for the email address and tel no.

So congrats to all who have started, just heard, etc and to those who are still waiting.......
Do not give up hope as this came out of the blue for me .
