Mine was on the 19th August at Old Trafford, yeh it's good news. Would cheer me up immensely for our IRC to get moving, had the flu for 3 weeks now

I was 1:15pm on the 19th August, got out of the building at about 4 ish, at least i had a great view of the Old Trafford pitch during my interview, probably the only time i will get in an executive box lol.

Sorry guys, it's not good news.

I've spoken to the Manager.

Orginally we were recruited (35 posts for Hyde BDC) because they were expecting to get a piece of work in January 2010 that would require the extra staff.
That is no longer going to happen.

The BDC is part of a national project that is restructuring (you may have read that on here).
Consequently, there is now no need for us and there will be no job.

They have made the merit list available to other areas of the business but obviously other posts already have they're own merit lists to work through first.

What an absolute joke, were they not even going to tell us and just have us sit and wait. Well there are new posts on the DWP website today for those areas, are they going to take us into consideration for those, or do we have to re-apply, then again, would i want to.

I am so angry I could spit...

Just spoken to the DWP and apparently I have previous been told a pack a of lies..

I received an email on 27 Oct stating I my checks had been cleared and I was number 5 on the so called "merit list"..

I phoned today to query my position again based on hearing about a freeze in Coventry and Warwickshire and was told my checks have not even been actioned, no checks have been completed and I am now 75th on the so called merit list..

How can these people get away with telling such blatant untruths?

Has anyone got an email address for the complaints department cus this is just unacceptable behaviour!!

God i am so angry..I've gone from thinking I have a job in the bag to now believe I wont hear from them for another 12 months..
