When your details have been passed to Business servises, does that mean they are ready to make the call or is it another looong wait?

What is the approximate waiting time from then?

Would they pass you to business if there are no vacancies yet?
I can do all things through him who gives me strength....:A

Congrats! Another one to receive the call.. I have but given up hope for IRC 60370. If anyone apart from Slitty has got a start date please let me know.
    Slitty was 60369.

I had a call today re: both 60369 and 60370 in response to my email complaint from the 22nd Oct. Apparently they're going to try to sort me out an interview for 60369 to make up for all the stuff ups.

With regards 60370, I was told they've only just started placing people. That ties in with Newcastle having sent one of my personal references a letter asking for a ref on me. I was apparently 58th on the list, but now 54th as the first couple have been placed.

Some further info I got is that apparently if you are in a joint position on the list, they place everyone with that score simultaneously. As such the list can be worked through a lot quicker than you'd think. Anyway, I was told it would likely be a couple more weeks before I'd hear anything on 60370.

In the meantime, I had my 6 month review today. I now qualify for the bribe to employers, which I've passed on to my agent, who has passed it on to the people I interviewed with yesterday. I'm expecting to know tomorrow whether or not I can give the DWP a virtual look at my middle finger and start a much better job next week. Got everything crossed!

I agree Heather, i'm 50 and Nick sounds so much more mature than myself lol :o, also nice to hear that another family will have a nice Christmas :j

Thankyou heather and Cap123, people often tell me that im more mature than most people my age, i think that is down to having a child to look after and being self reliant at a young age, as most people my age either still live with their parents or go to university, where at university most are still supported by the state. But anyways :D I also hope to make some friends and get some form of social life as i moved to area a live now (Gloucester) only 9 weeks ago and have 0 friends here, i wonder if there is anyone reading this that works or will soon be working at the Gloucester Jobcentre would be good to hear from you.
