I had interview in August for IRC60811 - Shropshire. Had my success letter and then Disclosure this week. When I email or call, I just get told nothing is happening until end October or maybe even later.....
Trouble is, when I got the success letter I told my current employer!!!
I am forty-somthing on the merit list.
Really really hope we ALL hear something soon.
This is such a strange process and the long wait stressful.

Have you heard anymore on this yet?? Email and phone - thats what I did - and you are only 2 below me on the merit list and I got my call on Wednesday, but I guess it does depend on which region you are after. Fingers crossed for you.

I'm still waiting!

Did you receive one of those letters over the weekend? I contacted the email address on there but I haven't had a reply. It wouldn't worry me as much but knowing that some people won't get placed and that they have started posting makes you panic a bit when you don't hear anything!

For persons waiting for IRC60370

I have been informed this morning that the freeze has definitely being lifted and calls to post applicants are now being made.

Hopefully they will go through the list quickly as I am 34 on the merit list.

I have never been asked what location I prefer or given any forms that give an indication of where I would like to work in Coventry and Warwickshire. I've just emailed them to ask if there's currently a freeze on with the above mentioned area and whether I was supposed to have received a preference form..

Yes I heard on Wednesday also, not my preferred location but JC+ about 16 miles from me, so not to bad, can't moan at least it's a job.

yeah did get the letter, but didnt take much notice as i heard it all b4 lol, yeah bit worrying when ppl are getting placed but u not heard anything, what position were u

just spoke to a guy re the above irc number and it seems as tho 31 ppl have either been posted, failed crb check, or turned it down, as my position hasd moved from 82 to 51, and they confirmed this, but could not say when they were next going to post ppl, or if it would be b4 or after xmas, not much help im afraid, but at least we are moving lol
