Phoned up today, as I'm away for the next two weeks. Have passed so it's the waiting game now I guess.0

Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone has had an interview in the London area recently?0 -
Hi Louise
How long ago did you have your interview? I had mine on 25th April was told that it would be 2 weeks but getting more stressed as time goes on,like everyone else would really like a job.0 -
Hi all,
I was recently placed on the "successful" waiting list for the Executive Officer role within the Manchester region. The interviews took place in March 09 and I received my "successful" but on the waiting list letter late April. After reading some of the posts in here I finally managed to speak to someone at the DWP in Newcastle to ask where I have been placed on the waiting list. I turns out that I'm 95 in the list, doh!!! After prompting I was told that there were originally 50 posts for the region but I wasn't able to find out how many people are on the waiting list.
I was hoping that I would have been placed higher than 95 with my experience etc but I'm petty sure everyone further down the list thought the same.
I think I'm better to assume that I didn't get the job now and look for something elsewhere as I could be waiting several months if ever or am I being too negative?
Anyway congratulations to all those who have been placed and thanks for all the information as I would have been lost without it by going through the official channels!!!

Hiya, has anyone had an interview for an EO position since the new competencies have been introduced? They look pretty daunting!0
-
Yes. The interview was pretty similar to the AO one. Not sure how I did as I wasn't quite on the ball that day and waffled a bit. It's about three weeks since I had the interview and needless to say I'm expecting to hear how I did sometime around my retirement age...NorthLincs88 wrote: »Hiya, has anyone had an interview for an EO position since the new competencies have been introduced? lol takes absolutley ages with the DWP! Was you still only asked 4 questions relating to the competencies? My previous EO interview just had 4 questions and that was it... but now it looks like there is 5 competencies you could be asked? And there nothing like the ones before...much more detailed!0 -
