    Hi everybody

I had an interview in April and was told that I would hear something within 2 weeks. It's been over that and I still haven't even had the test results.

Would they still contact me if I have been unsuccessful? I feel that the suspense is driving me mad! Every day I am cursing the post when no letters arrive.

I was interviewed on 21st april and not heard back yet. They said I would hear one way or the other with 3 weeks - so they still have a few days. before the 3 weeks is up. (I haven't received the test results either and it's probably over 5 weeks since I did them.)

^^^You could just ring them? If you ever get through. I think they usually do send a letter in the post, either way.

    Hi Destiny

Well have just phoned them and finally got through!!! Spoke to a lovely lady who isn't dealing with the exercise that I applied for but did tell me that the lady dealing with it is off sick and due back tomorrow, but also that they are still waiting for test results!!! And that the letters won't go out till next week at the earliest! Great when we are all desperate to hear lol. Oh well I will just have to hope I hear about the other job I went for soon. It's with my local council, none of this FTA either! And its £2K a year more!!! But I applied for the two at the same time and got my interview at the JCP really quickly although the council job hasn't even replied yet and I get the guaranteed interviews because I have a disability!

I cant believe there are lots of people waiting for test results etc. I took my tests on a Selection Day and they were marked while we were still sitting at our desks. The people who passed were called out of the room 15 minutes after the test was finished and we were all interviewed about an hour later! That seems like such a better way to have dealt with it!
I admit that it was totaly chaos that day but at least we were all dealt with and didnt have to go back or wait like some of the people on here!

Aaaaaagh disclosure say they sent my form back to Newcastle as the name in the employer box was not registered to apply for disclosures. Newcastle say they dont have it back from disclosure scotland . Well why not just send me out another disclosure form????????? Cos surely that would be quicker than doing nothing

I totally agree with you Molli, I actually sat my tests last August and took the results in with me as I didn't have to re-sit them this time so they already have my tests and the tests were 2 weeks before the interviews so I would think all the test results would be in already!

I just phoned my local council to see whats happening with the other job I applied for on the same day - haven't even heard anything about that one yet but the lady I spoke to is going to get someone to phone me asap to let me know what's happening with that one!

I just wish I knew what was happening with these applications. It's like being in limbo lol. The only thing that has really ticked me off is that the JCP job I went for stated in the ad that no internal apps would be accepted yet I know for a fact that the majority of applications were from internal people. I know I got good marks in my tests so I'm really relying on whether or not the people that interviewed me actually liked my answers or whether they had already decided to only accept internal apps ... only time will tell!

My CRB finally turned up today as I filled in two of them and I asked Newcastle to forward the other one last week as the original one went missing when disclosure Scotland returned it as I hadn't ticked if I had an alias or not.
Needless to say i've forwarded it by recorded delivery. Touch wood this doesn't get lost and a position is available for me.

Mine was also marked while I was there - the successful ones were then given an interview date - but I've never actually been given the results. Obviously I did enough to get an EO interview but I don't know what marks I got. (Not that I care.)

With regards to internal candidates, just checked my job ad and it said "Existing staff are excluded from applying for posts in their current grade to avoid destabilising the business". There were a lot of current employees at my test day so I guess they were going for promotion.

I can understand everyones frustration, i was told on the telephone that i was successful but they still have not finished the interviews yet until Friday this week. Apparently letters will be sent out next week, they also stated that from the letter is sent then the CRB will be done. I have a disability as well, don't know if this help me.

Anyone gone for the job for Lambeth, Southwark and Wandsworth District.

Hopefully i ain't waiting to long.
