I Just recieved a email asking for me to fill in my Location Prefs as they have lost my first one

As i havnt filled one in in the past this was worrying

I had to fill one of these forms in at interview stage. A lot of other ppl on here didnt but have been phoned or emailed about it. I woudlnt worry. Just ring them up AND email....make sure they def get the info (u never know with shared services lol...always one muck up or another)

I am gratified to have found this thread as I am beginning to despair at the nightmare this whole recruitment process seems to have become. The whole paradigm of recruitment that the DWP employ is woefully inept. I dare say that not only is keeping people in the dark about their livelihoods in this manner a complete farce, it is also an absolute disgrace.

Have any of you been appointed in the West Midlands area? If so, I fear I may have been overlooked

I have telephoned the HQ many times and have had experiences which seem to mirror those of many of you here. The latest debacle is that I have been told there is some sort of weird 'embargo' on recruiting until the end of October. What a cop out!

hi im also waiting on west mids irc 61492 all cleared and passed mid sept nothing at all since. i think it is really terrible how they are treating us. but they expect us to treat people with respect when they come and sit in front of us. a joke.
