DWP employment waiting list

Im not sure if anyone knows this, but I thought I would give it a try...
Does anyone know how many people are on the merit list for the above positions, and how many vacant positions there are?
Has anyone applied for any of these positions?
Thanks!:o0 -
i'm really confused and annoyed now tbh - I was previously told in an email that I was no. 69 on the merit list and now when I phoned up i'm 74!! Am i ever going to get 'the call', feeling depressed now
I feel your pain... I was told I'm 22 on the merit list for EO position. Phoned on Friday and he said I was in Phase Three, which they were beginning to roll out today. Still no call. He also said there was a good chance that I'd be offered a position - but all depends on if anyone ahead of me on the list turns the job down.
I had a phonecall this morning from another job this morning saying I had the position and wants me to start on Wed. It's literally half the salary of DWP job and whilst I desperately need money, I don't want to be mucking nice employers about!! EEEEEK! I just hope they phone before the end of today to say I have the position.
What am I going to do~??!??!?!?!

That's the dilemma I have been having. It feels wrong to apply for other permanent positions when you don't know how long your going to be there, especially if they have to train you up.0 -

lol. Since the recent spate of 'the calls' I have been getting really nervous and have been looking at my phone for hours. Fingers crossed we will hear very soon!0 -

I'm unemployed at the mo - have been since the end of June. I worked for Aviva in Norwich soon after I graduated from uni but left as my contract on my accomodation there ended. Job searching ever since!! That's why I was soooo happy when I got the successful letter from DWP (now its disappointment lol). I'm waiting for AO in East Anglia. Someone on the forum got the call last week and he was no. 46 on the list, so was hoping I would hear this week as the IRC covers all east of england (e.g, cambridge, peterborough, etc)0 -
I know it's hard for everyone waiting for 'the call' but I think that it is understandably harder for those of us who are unemployed and have been for some time.0

I'm signed off work at the mo - have been for a few months. Have been applying for jobs since January and finding it all very stressful!! I don't get full pay from work - so you're probably getting more per month than me! lol!!! My fingers are tightly crossed.
The guy I spoke to was talking about different phases, so I dont know if there's a merit list for each phase or what. I really hope we hear soon though!!!0 -
