  • I've just written my resignation letter for my current job............ It feels so real now.

Going to hand it in later on today.

Fingers crossed, for more calls this week for all of those waiting.

PS The resignation letter was harder than I thought to write, Shudder to think what it's going to be like handing it in.

I currently work in a call centre, evening work and don't like it very much at all, the job is ok but I miss spending time with my kids in the evening and weekend. Also simple things like cooking and eating proper meals together in the evening. They miss it too, still it was a means to an end and I've no regrets doing the job at all.

I also want to get back into administration and full time work and I'm more of a face to face people person but have been told I can gas for Scotland on the phone too. No idea what anyone is on about!
  • Hi guys. Why does it take them so long to confirm your employment history. disclosure came back at beginning of September. Called Newcastle and they informed me they were awaiting employement history checks and it would take to end of October, but yet others have told me checks are fine. Where do i go from here. IRC 61732. Is there another number I can call or who can I chase this up with

hi everyone. im sure lots of people will get the call this week. cant believe this time next week i will be earning a wage again. just wish it was a pernament position and not fixed contract. i am still going for my nhs interview tomorrow. feel bit guilty knowing i already have a job but as its pernament i want to give it a go. going away to cotswolds for few days straight after interview so i will be nice and refreshed for monday.
