what irc is it there maybe some1 on here waiting too who cud help u

I applied 9th July and stillllllllll waiting... reeived a letter about the freeze last week so not getting too downbeat yet.. i'm IRC 61418

Crivvens - your timeline is almost identical to mine, although I have't had a call saying my checks are complete. Perhaps the person doing the "search" put the wrong number sequence into the computer or something? :eek:

What area is IRC61418 for? When did u receive your sucess letter and did it mention anything about a waiting list?

Just out of interest, how many people on here have received a letter about the "freeze" from DWP? I haven't (yet) and dont know if this is good or bad.

If you know there's people lower on the list who have been placed, you should definitely be phoning DWP and asking for a full explanation about why you are still waiting and when you can expect to be placed.

See if you can find that email address for Louise Perry or whatever her name was as well. Email her everything you can about your application and that you know others lower down the list have been placed while you haven't.

DWP policy is very clear on this: if they're placing people lower on the list than you then you have a right to complain and get some answers.

me neither hunny and south yorkshire def comes under the freeze areas

I would definitely enquire. There must be some reason for it.
