DWP employment waiting list

Can anyone help. Im looking for a telephone number to call for an update on 60895 x

Hi Haypluz,

I applied for job in essex, got success letter but the number on it just rang out. Today i rang 0191216 5000. This is the main switchboard. Was passed from pillar to post and given the 0191216 number with any of the following: 6679/6614/6596/2295. Perhaps if you ring one of them and tell them the area you have applied for they will point you in the right direction. I finally got through to the right place for me!

well folks we not had many ppl having the call this week by the looks of things, hope things are not slacking off lol

on a high note tho, i actually have an interview tomo for a job i wanted and applied for last week, its quite interesting, pays more or less the same as DWP AO, and its 10 mins from my house and no stress :j:j

Right im still 21 on the waiting list. Good thing is he confirmed there is only one list - some people call it the merit list, others call it the waiting list. He confirmed a freeze on this role so hopefully once its lifted I might get a look in. So the wait continues.

no it is to do with schools though, u know if ur kids off ill or the school want to inform u of something and they send a text, well this company deals with all of that, the setting up, the sending of the msgs etc, its quite interesting in a geeky kinda way lol

GOOD LUCK!! I've been applying for jobs but not getting anywhere unfortunately Never mind, all one can do is keep trying!
