DWP employment waiting list

Tobyloby- i had a few gaps in mine after uni, when i went travelling. They did not ask for proof or anything. I also have a gap of unemployment where i wasnt claiming, and they did not ring me up and ask about it. I'm sure they will not require anything. As long you are honest about your jobs and where you worked etc, it should be fine. Good luck"You dont need a weather man to know which way the wind blows"0

I received this email from Jan Treleaven.
It sounds like there aren't enough jobs to me.
Especially as our jobs were suppose to be there already.
Hello Kim
JCP are currently reviewing their staffing position, and will be in touch once they have a firmer idea of future opportunities. We do not expect this to be before late October.
Thanks Jan
Crivvens! Jan Treleaven is the name on my Disclosure! Still, there have been so many positives in the last few days that I dont think we should get our kilts in a twist about this. Late October is only 3-4 weeks from now, when you think about it although if, like me, you have been unemployed for ages, it seems like an eternity. Chin up!0 -
My friends were asked to tell the DWP what I'd been doing for the last 3 years in their personal references. I assume it'd only be important if there was a discrepancy between what they said and what you put on the form.0

My referees were not asked anything like that, to my knowledge. I'm not worried about a discrepancy, I'm worried that they will think I do not have enough recent employment history full-stop0 -
If your employment checks all work out than they do not need to ask your references. They are needed if they cannot gather the correct information on your checks."You dont need a weather man to know which way the wind blows"0

If not having an employment history was an issue I don't think you'd have been interviewed. As I understand it the interview is all that counts once you've got to that stage.0

I really wouldn't worry. If you passed the interview, that means they think you are good and competent enough to do the job whatever your employment history. I finished uni a year ago and have only had one job and I passed all my checks. All they need to do is confirm your employment history over the last three years even if there hasn't been much to make sure you are not lying. You'll be fine!:o0 -

I know!!! I was like....can't you halt the training for another week so i can have some extra time to meditate, pray and choose something decent to wear?!! How inconsiderate of them!! Honestly! Hehe.
Thank youuuuu!! I will keep you updated on the horror you will have to encounter when you all start Moohahahahaha! (evil laugh)xx
