DWP employment waiting list

I recieved a letter today saying I have been successfull and offering me a place on a waiting list.

I have another interview next week for the same position in the same area but under a different job reference number, is it worth me going to this interview or wil I just be on the same waiting list twice, that is of course providing I am successful twice.

No. Different reference numbers mean different recruitment exercises, so go to both. If you're successful at both you'll double your chances.

from my experiance and from what i gathered from newcastle this is good news - your details go accross to the jc that will be employing you and they then sort out your start date/training etc so you will recive a call direct from them, they may well have to gather a group of people together so can take a bit of a wait but hopefully you will hear soon

Congrats, I had the same letter too today.

Don't worry I'm on another waiting list too I guess the more you on the increase chance you might get a job.

Also I was stupid and could of got a third interview but got the test dates mixed up.

Anyways, I was just wondering once they have received my CRB check back and have started gathering info on my past experiences, what are the likelihood of a job being available.

sorry I don't understand you question? but that number's the same application as me.

The letter I recieved was very poorly written with spelling and grammar errors throughout.

Even "be" was missing the e

I kinda just saw waiting list and didn't read further, but I just went back and checked the letter and your right lol

i received a letter saying i has been successfull but it never mentioned a waiting list. Did anyone get a same letter?

How long did it take for u to get a start date?
