DWP employment waiting list

Well with my complaint sent by e-mail this morning and the numerous other complaints on the way it looks pretty clear what Louise Perry will be doing this afternoon!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0

I'm kind of wishing I never read this board- I applied for IRC60370, jumped through all of the hoops and got a letter saying I was successful. Then it all went quiet so I phoned all of the numbers on all of the bits of paper I was ever given only to have them ring out for 5-10 minutes and then disconnect. Then I phoned the number posted above and found out that there's a 2-3 week 'pause' whilst the DWP decide what they're doing and that Employee Services Resourcing didn't contact candidates because they 'didn't want to confuse matters'.
Coming from a recruitment management background myself (and I know this is no comfort to any of us), but I can honestly say I've never been through a recruitment process quite as bad as this.
But thanks for the postings with the glimmers of hope!0 -

Good luck - hope they have the decency to contact you:mad:0 -
:mad::mad::mad::mad:Pay attention guys to anyone that's applied for IRC60535.
I am absolutely livid! Have just called today to chase them up because 2 weeks ago I was told that my checks were clear and should be getting a call from business services in a few days to discuss start dates.
I am now told that Andrew no longer deals with this it's Janice.
Apparently I'm number 59 on the MERIT list. Didn't think that sounded bad thought it would be out of about 300. But she doesn't think I'll be offered a post this time round they won't be going that far down the list. WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's disgusting, my employer thinks I'm leaving I am so ANGRY after all this waiting.:mad::mad:
I'm a positive person but honestly if you're on a waiting list just forget about the job that would be my advice and if you're on a merit list and think that's any better you're mistaken.
I am so sorry. Did they actually say how far down the list the were going to go?0 -
Well i have also written and sent an email to Louise. However im not holding my breath cos i emailed yesterday with no reply and when i spoke to her on the phone yesterday i was told someone would call me back and that never happened either.0
