Applied: 15th July
Closed: 27th July
Tests: 10th August
Interview: 20th August

I phoned up last week when I received my certificate from DS and asked what was next. The woman told me my checks were all complete and my information had been passed forward to Business Services (or whatever they're called).

Then why have my referees been contacted by someone from Newcastle this morning? Has someone been telling me porkies?

Same as me! Apart from the reference bit. I am desperately waiting for a start date - I have another job offer which I am meant to take up next week but I really want to work for the DWP.
