  • I am shocked by this news you guys are posting, as I am sure you all are. I was only interviewed on Friday! Whats that all about then? I was told Friday that I would have a 4 week wait for the results of the interview. Surely they wouldn't have interviewed if they were aware of the freeze, and HR would be the first to know....Thought the interview went well too:confused:

What area was your interview for?
  • Hi Michael82

Also had success phone call saying will start end of Aug (no letter tho) this is for EO in Berkshire. Asked at the JCP last Thursday when to expect a start as i had received my CRB through, but was told the same ole same ole, wait for a call! Anyone else in Berkshire waiting for a start. I suppose we will be waiting a while longer now that they are freezing jobs. TUT. Anyone had an update yet?

I'm getting really annoyed now...Where's that wine, I really need it?!

Definitely not too early. I would have one myself if I didnt have to drive later on:mad:

    I am sooooo mad.

They have had an e-mail off me now - just wait to see if they can be bothered to respond.

I wouldnt be so annoyed if they just answered the telephone and gave an explanation as to what was happening.

I say start on the wine, in fact I should probably do the same and try to calm myself down a bit. I'm getting really annoyed now too...this whole ringing out thing is totally unacceptable.

Exactly, if they just answered the phone I wouldn't be as angry as I am now. I can appreciate that they are busy but this is beyond a joke. They've also had an email from me, wont hold my breath for a reply.

Going to Asda soon so will pick up a [STRIKE]box[/STRIKE] bottle of wine :rotfl:

  • Hi guys,

just wondering...i recieved a call from manpower inviting me for the written test for the last EO london position.....but the funny thing about this call is that the guy said my passport photo must be signed and stamped by either an accountant,Gp or a solicitor......is this a new rule or what cos is a bit strange.....as for the irc...am just too lazy to check my inbox....but is the last EO posted in the london region....any feedback is well appreciated.the test is at Hilton Hotel croydon.
