Thingwall hey!!! You are my neighbour!!! My dad lives in Pensby and sometimes i stay with him.

I think even with the threat of people stalking me i would still prefer my local office...its not too local...still a bus ride and a walk. Just that when you cant drive, getting more than one bus can turn sour pretty quickly. I have had bad experiences of having to get two buses, aways ended up late if buses were not on time etc.

Guys I just got off the phone with my local recruitment office checking the status of my exercise...

I've been told there has just been a national freeze on recruitment and none of the current exercises will be posting people anytime soon. Apparently we will all get letters to that effect next week or so.:( She said they may start posting again in late October.

I'm so angry right now - I was told I'd probably get a start date in the next week or so last time I rang...

Hi all

Wondering if anyone had heard anything for the IRC61714. Made it through interview and assessment and I was told that I will be contacted after pre-recruitment checks. It's been 5 weeks now and I have not heard anything.:huh:

No problem. I was expecting a start date call next week so I'm pretty darn cheesed off knowing that it wont be for at least 6 weeks and probably much longer than that. Starting to wonder if I'll get a job there at all - this is all beginning to feel like one giant hoax.:mad:

yep its true, just spoke to Brian in yorskhire area (dwp) and he said he could not officially say but there are meetings going on discussing the matter, so looks like i have jusr wasted 3 months of job hunting time, i cud of found something else by now :mad:
