Well I've just had an email inviting me to sit literacy testing TOMORROW, having passed an AO sift. Just as well I check emails regularly/have already passed literacy and numeracy. Anyone waiting on AO competence sift results and yet to sit the literacy test check your emails NOW!!:idea:0

You know. The sift test. Didn't you do one oneline as the very first stage in the application? The one that has you rank certain reactions 1-4.
I know, the email thing is a new one on me too. So that's the post, the phone AND email I now have to monitor anxiously.
What I had to do was ring up Newcastle (yes, another half hour pressing redial every 2 seconds), cite the IRC number, give them my test scores and say what IRC I passed them under. They then put you right through to interview stage which 'might be anytime, depending on the volume of test passers'.
Oh the sloth...:idea:0 -

Yes DWP do it online for all vacancies as far as I know. They certainly do for AO positions because I applied for one.
I also recieved DWP communications by e.mail. Quite common.0 -
