Congratulations to all you lucky people who have received "The Call"

I keep looking at all the posts on here and thinking surely its got to be my turn soon!!!!

I was just wondering is there anybody from a six month or twelve month waiting list that never got an offer? Does the list get discarded after the set time or do they place everyone from that list eventually? Also, does anyone know what happens when a new recruitment drive happens before the old list is used up - are the new people and score blended with the old wait list?

Received a success letter today for IRC61865 (EO in Manchester jc+) on a waiting list for 6 months.

it says they will contact me as soon as they have any further information, so is there anything else i need to do or do i just wait for them to ring me?

Also ive never had to do a CRB check before, is there stuff i need to send them or does it all happen automatically?

If it makes you feel any better...although probably not... I haven't heard either. I didn't even get a list of possible locations to choose from.

If you filled in the correct forms at your interview, it will happen automatically. They will then send you the disclosure forms after they have looked at them for you to keep. Just have to sit back and wait, and wait, and wait!! Good luck with getting a place though. If you want, you can ring them up and ask how far along it is moving. If you have a waiting list letter it could be a bit longer.

Didn't enquire about the number I'm hoping as it's a Merit list it won't make much difference?? I Hope not anyway!

As long as I get a date next week and it's not starting next year that's o.k! Beginning Oct would be nice!

I drive so anywhere in sheffield is fine by me, rotherham at a push and free parking a must!

cant believe how long things have took to just get this far, im hoping for my 2 local ones as im not sure if they have parking for Bailey court or Cavendish, whereas my 1st and 2nd choices, (woodhouse or eastern avenue) have great parking, but as long as i dont get donnie or barnsley id be a happy bunny :j (as they too far for me)

hi everyone,
finally managed to get in touch with newcastle today.
they informed me that all my checks are done and i have been passed to bussiness centre. i think this is good news. have been to sign on today and really hope it was for the last time.
