    Hahaha :p

My greatest weakness in my lack of patience...especially when it comes to jobs!! I think waiting over 6 months for a job is the most patient i have ever been....got no hair left, but still i didn't have a nervous breakdown!

Oh god....i can't see him coming down the road even...maybe he's feel into a diabetic coma somewhere round the corner...with my forms safely tucked away in his bag!

  • This thread has been very useful! however the dwp recruitment process isn't very well designed at all!
I received my disclosure on the 27th after being successful for irc 60535 AO. which put me in a good mood however I phoned the newcaslte number today and found out I'm 177 on the merit list. Which basically means I will be offered a job in about 10 years probably.
I thought successful meant would be offered a job lol :( back to applying for jobs for me!!

Don't panic, there are 300 posts to fill so you will be offered a job. The fact they have done your checks is a good sign, they wouldn't do them that quickly if you'd be waiting 6 months. They guy I spoke to said it doesn't always mean they will go from 1 to 300 in order there are other factors such as location that come into it.

Meh...he was okay, no diabetic coma (if he even is diabetic?!)...as usual, just a load or junk mail for me- getting offered home insurance, even though i am yet to own my own home! Pah! Maybe if i got a job i could bloody well afford a home!

Maybe they will come tomorrow...yes, tomorrow!!! :p

Hiya there new to forum but stumbled across the thread...

I've also appplied for position IRC60535. CRB Came last week from DWP, Received the slip that said they'll be in touch. I know my References haven't received anything yet though, and nevr got those test results.

I've even resorted to emailing one of the contacts from the online test to be fair he emailed me back in 5 minutes which was great given a possiblecontatct number.
    he's given me 0191 2162326 this morning.

01912162326 is the one i've tried over and over.

Do you know which one you rang?

    ...O THE WAITING!!

They guy I spoke to also told me that all this is arranged when you get the call. He said looking at my postcode it should be ... so I'm guessing the will try their best to get you to your closest JCP.

None of my references have been contacted yet, but he said my checks were complete  however my current employer did get contacted and they have said it was a reference even though we couldn't put employers down.
