    Hello

Can someone tell me which jobcentres come under Central London & City & East?
I went for an EO interview & have received a letter which says I have been successful & they are now undertaking pre-recruitment checks & I will be contacted again once these are completed. Does this mean I am not on a waiting list?
    Thanks :)

You are not on a waiting list, but you will be on a merit list.

If you ring the no on your letter they should be able to tell you. The lower the No the sooner you will be offered a job.
  • Woo! I have a start date for IRC60540 (EO position in West Yorkshire) I start on the 28th September at Southern House in Leeds. Anyone else joining me?

    Well done:T:T:T

Have you been waiting for the call long????
  • I took the online test on 15th June
    Interview on 6th July
    Success letter on 12 August
Original phone call on 28th August (but I missed it!)
    Finally placed today!

By the time I start on the 28th Sept it will have taken about three and a half months. Not the fastest turnaround time in the world, but it's still faster than the original AO job I was offered (Applied in March, was due to start at the end of August but because I got the EO job I was told not to bother)

So happy! After a year out of work I'm going to have money again soon! No more being a hermit!
  • it depends what address u put on ur crb check form if its theres then they will prob get sent to them then u, if you put urs then DWP will need a copy, thats my understanding of it anyway, hope that helps x

Thats great thanks! Yes you have reminded me that we put the DWP Newcastle address on the CRB forms at interview. I might call them this week as I was no.21 2 weeks ago. Hoping I may be nearer the top of the list! Its like a competition and the prize is a job! Just hope it will all be worth it!:rotfl:

Brilliant. My wife and I are waiting for that one too. Did you get a call this morning? Also, did you ever find out your position on the list?

Apparently, I was supposed to go for the interview for this post as well, but DWP rang after the interviews had taken place to see why I didn't attend !!! told them I did not receive any calls or e-mails about it - to which they replied that there had been a glitch in their system:o:o

Never mind. Went for interview few days ago for latest vacancies in Leeds. They managed to contact me this time:rotfl::rotfl:

Best of luck in your new job anyway. Let us all know how you find it. Most people seem to enjoy their role.
