Since start of June till end of July took to do CRB checks..
July - CRB complete. Once completed file passed on to recruitment team
Then recieved a call for start date...

one of the worst customer service i have EVER come acroos in my life. The managment in the recruitment team are very disorganised...unhelpful...etc..they just love passing the buck from 1 person to another

hi, I agree, especially from my recent experience, but my last experience was excellent, as the person who rang to arrange a start date was very helpful and actually was smiling and I was hoping I would be working with them instead.

Hi pauline, phone them on tuesday as when i rcvd my disclosure they said that was the last part to my checks done and they were now complete, did it come from scotland or from DWP, if it came from scotland then the dwp will need a copy , if its from DWP u may be all cleared too, fingers crossed for ya x

It came from DWP, so should be ok. do you think I should ring them just to check? Presume they have seen it though, as its their address on the certificate and the envelope it came in was a DWP one.

Don't think they have contacted my former employers as yet, as when I rang him week or so ago he said he would let me know if anything came in from them, and he hasn't ! My personal referee hasnt been contacted either.

Can someone clear the CRB process up for me?

I was 21 on the list last week and wating for checks.

Do I get the CRB then send it to DWP? Or do DWP get it and I dont get anything just wait for the call? OR do DWP send it to me once they have it?

Or all of the above as it seems ha!!

right ok if its come from dwp and has their address on u should be fine but ringing them cant do any harm im gonna keep pestering them lol, thats strange re references tho mine were contacted soon after interview apperently, id check with DWP ya never know typical it bank holiday these things always happen when ya cant contact ppl lol like a w/end or BH, let me know how ya get on x

it depends what address u put on ur crb check form if its theres then they will prob get sent to them then u, if you put urs then DWP will need a copy, thats my understanding of it anyway, hope that helps x

WhenDoIStartDWP?

I got accepted into the Pensions Service as an AO in Cwmbran about 2 and a half months ago now! I wasn't told I was on a waiting list like other people I know, yet I've not heard much back from them. The acceptance letter said checks were being carried out. I sent out my CRB disclosure form which came back to me saying thank you, keep the certificate in my records. They then sent me the Health Disclosure forms, which I filled in and sent. That was about 2 weeks ago, and was the last thing I heard from them . Anyone in the same leaky boat as me?

Hey, my dad works at Newport BDC (I'm assuming you mean Newport, South Wales), the parking isn't great, Newport as a whole isn't great for parking.
As for the address, my dad work in the job centre plus office by the south entrance to the Kingsway shopping centre
