    Hey Momma

Is that agreement per month? I wonder how training takes place? Do you have to go away for it or is it in-office shadowing? Well, this time next week I will know a lot more than I do now.

Blimey, 'at leisure' for 15 months. Most of it by choice, latterly in quiet desperation. Having the letter makes it all real.
I have been told some training is at Birmingham and some at West Brom but this is to be discussed with my Line Mgr so must be a week or so in. Apparently you cant have your own clients until you finish all your training I start 25th Aug I was told I would have everything confirmed by post but that was nearly 2 weeks ago but going on all the other waiting we have had will probably be in post by the time the letter comes

Enjoy yourself.:beer: Make the most of this last few weeks and relax knowing you've got money coming in soon. Afford yourself a few treats and a lot of last-minute indulgence.

I'm a bit nonplussed as to how this happened; I only signed on in the first place so I could get two crowns fixed on the NHS - I didn't expect to end up working there :D:D:D

FYI, the department is full of people who took a casual/temp job "till a proper job comes along" and are still there 30 years later.

  • Can anyone let me in on how the flexi time works? My post offered is full time hours between 8 and 8 and 9-1 Sat (do JC's really open Saturdays?)
Anyhow i wondered how the flexi time works. How long is a working day there and how long do you have for lunch?
    Anyone?

Congrats Ferien! - Do you know if they contacted your personal referees prior to getttin the start date?

I don't know. I asked one of them, but she never replied!

I've been helping out my Dad at his office, so put him down as my current employer. I know they definitely contacted him.
