I think the test scores just get you the interview and then they aren't taken into account after that, so you're just merited on your performance at the interview itself - I may be wrong but that's the way i understood it0 -
I've got another round of tests/interviews on Saturday, although i've had a 'successful' letter already.
So what happens if i'm successful twice? I don't really fancy going through the interview again! it'll be the third time. In theory, I could attend repeatedly until I get the highest mark possible. Surely not the best way to recruit staff?Bored0 -

NO i understand it is based on performance at interview and i know it was prob my worst ever interview. just wish that we had been told in letter recd jan where we had come i would have started looking for job a lot sooner. just worries me having to convince a prospective employer that you are not leaving jc+ cos you're no good at your job, just that current contract, which had been extended 3 times, is up and you are waiting to receive a start date from the same people you were employed by. Most employers wouldn't bother offering you a job if they thought you would leave them. So emailing cv to agencies tonight for temp work from may but permanent if the right job. Can't stand the thought of signing on at the office i work in .....0

Yes, it would make a lot more sense if they wrote you a letter which said - 'I'm afraid you have not been allocated a current vacancy at jc+, however you did perform well at interview and so we would like to keep you on our records incase a suitable vacancy comes up in the future, we will hold your details for X months. You are currently Xth on the waiting list for a vacancy, we cannot guarantee that a vacancy will come up in this time or give you an indication of how long you may wait'.
Then it would be clear from the outset that you do not actually have a job you just have a chance of a job at some indeterminate time in the future!0 -
Argh!

I feel like screaming!!!!! They've had everything they needed, references, crb they even bluddy contacted my work only for them to tell me that i'm on a waiting list! So now my work now knows i am looking for alternative employment. I work in retail !!!!!!, jobs are few and far between and now when redundancies come up i'm guna be top of the list! How can they contact my work if they don't have a job for me?! this is mental. Never known anything like it0

got my CRB check back. Now what?
I've never been told I'll be on a waiting list, just that I have ben 'successful'. They should be straight with you, unless there are those who are successful and those who get a waiting list letter, but I doubt it!Bored0 -
Hi all, I have been lurking about ever since I was put on a 12 waiting list for AO position. Although my waiting list letter states it will last for 12 months and they hope to offer me a position during this time, but cannot guarantee this. I have also received my original disclosure Scotland CRB form in the post last week. However I am unsure whether I need to send it back to DWP because on the form underneath my name, is the person's name at DWP who is from employee services resourcing and their (office) address, I assume they are dealing with my application. Do I need to send a copy to DWP or just wait for a phone call now? Any help/advice is appreciated :]0

Well you see we thought there were those who got the waiting list letter and those that had been successful but now it seems people that were told they had been successful with no mention of a waiting list are also receiving waiting list letters somewhere down the line! not everyone but some, so basically they don't know their !!!! from their elbow!0
