DWP employment waiting list

I got a letter last week saying I had passed interview and now waiting for pre-recruitment checks to be completed. This was for Sunderland AO positions. What is involved in these checks and anyone else in the same boat have any idea of start dates. Had interview at Stadium of Light if that helps. Cheers.

Application closed in March, tests in April, interviews in May, success letters in June (no waiting list) and now nothing. I have been in contact via email with the people who sent my success letters but they haven't been able to provide too much information. I am a little sick of waiting. I have been told that for the EO (58379) position I am number 46 but I don't know out of how many or how many people they are looking for.

So if anyone else is waiting on the same IRC numbers, I'd be glad to hear it!

I mentioned Selly oak but my IRC is IRC51784 for an EO in the Birmingham and Solihull areas. The interviews were in March and the start of April so this must be the exercise before yours? I got my success letter in April and pre recruitment checks at the very end of May and i am still waiting for a start date. Hope this helps?

Too right theres a long wait .I have spoken to Newcastle today and they have said it will be at least another two weeks before I get THE CALL IRC58743 Nottinghamshire.

16/4 tests
25/4 interview
6/5 success letter no waiting list
24/6 CRB checks completed

is that a light I can see at the end of the DWP tunnel !!!
