    Yep

I'll wear what I wore for my interview- although I did wear silver shoes. I shall wear a lovely black pair instead...

You wore silver shoes to the interview? :D I like the cut of your jib!

I have just rung newcastle again and today I got through to the pre-employment checkers and got a nice man on the end of the phoned who was really helpful.

Apparently I filled in all my CRB forms correctly and attached a second page for my addresses as requested, but it turns out they never sent the second page with my CRB check so Scotland were missing some details. Now the nice man is going to ring Disclosure Scotland to fill in the missing information and all checks should be completely by the end of next week.

It sounds like there are a few people absent at the department so that probably isn't helping the chaos they are under at the moment but it really goes to show that you should chase things up with CRBs if you think there may be a problem as DWP may not even realise there is a problem to ring you about.

I am just so relieved that it is all getting sorted. :j
    Hi Chi Chi

Do you have a number for the pre-employment checkers, i have a number for Newcastle on my success letter. Which i have called and my paperwork has gone to the checking team, and who ever answers the phone takes my name and number and says that the checking team will call me back.
But so far no-one has rung me back

    Thanks

    Oh no. That sounds crap.

But you won't have to be with them forever.
