    We have a family wedding in Manchester in August we will probably do that plus maybe a week in centerparks before heading home.

    Usually its a week in Spain at easter and a week in Portugal in the autumn. 2009 we are certainly not going abroad.

    We are here July every year. NRA Imperial Meeting at the National Shooting Centre, Bisley.

    Sometimes we manage additional time away, either a short break in this country or a week abroad hiking.

    in 07.... went to canada, usa, mexico, venice, and centreparcs uk

    in 08.....could see redundancy coming :eek: so did centreparcs uk and new forest cottage rental only this year, just as well no job since september! but I've not looked for one, decided I could do with a break so will get new job in january

    09......centreparcs uk and a week in the caribbean at least, i need a holiday:D

    Yes, but making it cheap by staying with my folks in Kentucky, USA... means don't have to buy food and if we get bored there is always the massive garden to sunbathe in or good ole American daytime TV to watch...

    Seriously though, got 3 flights flying from Bristol to Newark and then down to Cincinnatti on 30th June, returning 17th July for £1136 so thought that was a good deal... was going to cost us £1600 to go on a two week B&B holiday to Cyprus without food or entertainment and the euro being worth less than the pound now... not good.

    Pity the dollar is plummeting now though too.

    I am planning to holiday swap my flat next year. Haven't done this before, but I'm sure someone would like a week in London and swap me somewhere (half?) decent. If I can swap with someone nearish an airport served by a budget airline I think this is a great idea for a reasonably priced holiday?
