I normally have great feelings of escape when I cross the Orwell Bridge......We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Named after George Orwell? Cool.0

Not planning on a foreign holiday this year, not unless I win one in a competition or something highly improbable like that. I don't suit any of the answers in the poll though. It's not that I can't afford it, it's that I have other priorities. I reckon 2009 will see me saving all I can. I'm not 100% confident that my employer will still be around this time next year, shaky currency, general feelings of despair. Nah, I'll bank the money incase a real emergency crops up.
Will still do the usual thing of visiting mates round the UK sofa surfing and going out for a few beers etc. I'm also hoping that the summer isn't too rubbish as you can't beat a spot of camping - barbacues, lazing on the beach, cycling, sh*gging under canvas... Don't need to leave the country for that kind of awesome holiday
