We are going to take as many holidays as the family budget will allow in 2009. Mr JanCee almost died in 2008 and now all priorities have changed for us.

we're off for a long weekend in february (my christmas present from OH, either london or edinburgh, can't decide).

we will be having a holiday in the summer, hopefully abroad, but at a shove we'd happily go camping in blighty. OH fancies america, but owing to finances we're probably going to end up on a package deal. i fancy mexico, but we're both openminded about destination as we love a bargain

Anyone who thinks that they won't be able to afford a holiday this year - just bear in mind that The Sun are doing their £9.50 holidays again this year and are including the May Half Term within their dates (as well as Easter).

We've been to a few of the European destinations and they have been lovely to spend time in with the family.

Not really planning any holidays this year, but that's more down to the awaited new arrival than anything else, might go to France to visit the grandparents in Sept/Oct time when she will be a bit bigger though.

I'm hoping to get a trip to Cornwall in - we could afford to go abroad BUT I'm desparate to go skiing in Morzine in Jan 2010 so want to save like crazy for that before forking any money out for this year's holidays!!!!

I always think I'm not that bothered about holidays until I start thinking about where I want to go and then I shock myself with all the places I want to go!!! New York, Salzburg, skiing 500 times a year (lol), Berlin, Thailand blah blah blah!!!!
Everything will be ok in the end, if everything's not ok then it's not the end :)

I haven't had a holiday since a week in a cheapo flat in England with my sister in 1995.

They're expensive if you're travelling alone - and once you get there it can be boring alone, or even risky. I don't speak to strangers - and only loons seem to attach themselves to me (usually dodgy fat blokes who think they'll get a quickie).

So this year's no different: no holiday for me.
