I agree with this, it is not a right to know th know the sex of your child, but you have a right to know if there could be any health complications."An arrogant and self-righteous Guardian reading tvv@t".
!!!!!! is all that about?0 -
this is digusting, how after speaking to a very nice friendly person when i contacted the so call hospital for the second time to be certain of the info that has been talked about they said that they are unable to tell you the sex anylonger as there has/was a increase in aborts due to the fact alot more muslims were aborting due to the first child not being there perfured sex apart from it being healthy!!!!!!!!
great at the fact of not sounding racist i think that is appaulingyou cant change yesterdaybut you can make tomorrow better0 -

It's not a 'so-called' hospital, It *is* a hospital...!for the second time to be certain of the info that has been talked about they said that they are unable to tell you the sex anylonger as there has/was a increase in aborts due to the fact alot more muslims were aborting due to the first child not being there perfured sex apart from it being healthy!!!!!!!!
If that *is* true (that the abortion rates have increased based on knowledge of the gender of a child), then they've taken some action and I think that's right.
If it's not true, and they're just wanting to charge for the service, I still wouldn't have a problem with it. As others have said, the scan is to highlight any problems with a baby's development. Knowing the sex of your child is a privilege on top of that - and if the hospital chooses to put on a fixed private fee for that service (which funds the hospital itself), then that's their right.
If patients at the hospital don't like it, I'm sure they can find other hospitals that operate differently.

KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -

Yes but a few years ago there wasn't an option of finding out the sex so people just made do... And why should housing be a problem? You find out at 20 weeks you're having a boy and you live in a 2 bed house with a daughter... So do you rush about in the last couple of months to find somewhere new to live or do you wait until after when it's not really going to be a problem for quite a while?
Each hospital is responsible for creating it's own policies and sticking to them and everybody has the option of going for a private scan if they choose to...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
