Hey everyone!! long time no speak.
It was payday yesterday so am now able to make payments to the debts, think i am on target to paying off the cc and mil by next xmas.
Have been looking into the bank accounts at my bank and all of them are charging the same way for the overdrafts!! so need to get ours down so it doesnt cost us. was thinking of setting up another current account for the bills to get paid out of so the money left is all we have and i know that come the 1st of the month (which is the end of my pay cycle) we will have the money to pay the mortgage. not sure which is the best way to do it though, we have another mortgage holiday so do i put the money away for the next payment this month so i am ahead of myself???? or wait till next payday and put it away?? how do you all do it?????
still not got my fella's second lot of overtime and getting bit sick of waiting for it. still not got round to ebaying either..............must, must, must do some soon. my house will breath a sigh of relief when its all gone!!!!
not much else to report really, my life has been pretty quiet lately. (my god, how boring do i sound?!?!?!?)
have a good weekend everyone,
love rags

well its not a happy time in the rags house.
my childminder has handed her 4 weeks notice in as she is no longer going to childmind as it hasnt worked as well as she thought joining with another childminder when she sold her house......................
and my fella finds out tomorrow whether he has a job as the company he is subcontracted to are trying to save money and his boss cant afford to drop his rates. if he does lose his job then he will be working away all week so i cant work in my job as will have no one to look after the boys after tea till i get home around half 8ish.
this is the reason not been on here much as just been so stressed. have had massive cold sores and my mouth is full of ulcers and my IBS has come back so bad all due to the stress. thought i would do i was always told and say nothing if i have nothing nice to say!!;)
not much else to report, have paid over £1k since i started my new challenge so well on target at the moment....................

quick update on job front. my fella still has his job for now but his boss has had to drop his rates alot so not actually making any money. as soon as the truck needs anything he will be losing money so still no better off really as his boss could call it a day any time soon as it just isnt good buisness. my fella going to talk to him properly today and see whats going on...............so for now its buisness as usual but the worry is still there lurking in the background.
oh but i have won a tenner on the lottery (i am a national lottery winner!) and won £5 on my free scratchee! swings and roundabouts springs to mind!

Hello all!!! (are you still about?)
well me and the boys are having a very lazy day today, we are all still in our pjs!!! (oh how i love to live dangerously lol!!:rotfl:)
not much going on here, am doing my first paid cake this week so will be getting £40 for a one tiered wedding cake. not mega money but a profit none the less. and its some more off the egg cc.
got a 25p pay rise at work (and no i wont spend it all at once) so am gonna put that towrads the debts every month, thinking the 25p's will add up over 12 hour shifts and then over the month.
have decided that the overdraft will be going on the egg cc when we get the renewal 0% deal early next year. have ummed and arrrghed over this for the past month or 2 but would rather have it at 0% than pay the stupid new charges and will at least have a chance to pay it off. dont think i will ever get it paid off whilst we are living in it. Means adding to the cc debt but will bring down my total debt in the end. must think of the bigger picture as well as my little challenges.
well still not found another childminder but my fella's sister has said she will have them for me till the end of jan when she will be heavily pregnant.:D this will be a great help and will save us just over £500 a month (more to the debts) and will give me more time to find a childminder me and the boys like, that starts at half 7 and will take ds1 to the school he is at (which is the hardest part of finding a childminder believe it or not!!)
still doing well on the grocery spending, have managed to reign it in and am in budget most weeks. Have been making homemade soup for my lunches at work or havng mackril on toast with cherry tomatoes (suprisingly filling) my skin is looking better and less dull with all the good food going in. seem to have given up on the exercise front, need to get back into it really as my jelly belly is coming back. (not that it really left to be honest)
still not ebayed anything!:mad::rolleyes::rolleyes::o:o in my defence my camara is full at the moment and need to go and print all the pictures off, but will cost a little........
have got my thinking head on for xmas ideas......but getting no where fast with it all. kiddies are ok as sort of know what i am getting them just in the process of finding them cheaper and seeing if i can get cash back! what is everyone getting their families/loved ones???
(my xmas pressie is a bit of a luxuary (sp?) my fella has bought tickets to see strictly come dancing live on tour!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D:D:D)
hope the half term isnt driving you all mad yet.
love rags

Hello, i am sorry i haven't been about much.
Mummy, pips mum and rags - if you wanna add me on FB - message me, that would be cool. x0 -
just a quick update from me, have another cake order!!
its a christening cake for january! that takes my total paid cake orders to 4 so far...........doesnt sound alot but its extra pennies at the end of the day!
the payment for egg2 cc came out today and is so very nearly under £2k! this is the only one that is over £2k at the moment (not including loans) and have started to pay off the sofa this month too so that is now under £2k!!! feels more manageable when in little chunks.
Off to work today as overtime. i agree thinking of the money at the time but now am sat thinking if i had said no then i would of had 5 days off in a row.........so my mantra today is extra off the debts, total debt going down, will be debt free!!!!! i will get through it!!
dont think i can get my loan on the online banking which is annoying me as i now like to see what its doing. tried yesterday but nope. might give them a ring tomorrow and see. dont they know that we need to see the total so we know our debt total?!?!?! lol!!! have sort of added up my total debt (guessing the car loan of course) and am under what i thought i was. thought my total was £26k but i am about £24800 ish (not exact but was rough calculations and over guestimated the car loan) so pretty much back where i was at the start of the year. ooopppssss!!!!!December 2018: £20,850.24.
