i know its stupid!!!! and my childminder is the cheapest i have found!!! (and the best by far.....)
It will be a little more some months as we may need her after school hours for some days due to oh not getting home in time so as nice as she is, she is going to charge us that in arrears and only for the days we use her!!!!!
The soa looks good, its just sticking to it now, goona go through it all with the oh tonight (as much as he hates talking about it as he gets too panicky) so he understands there is to be NO MORE SPENDING IN THE GARAGES WHAT SO EVER!!!!!! as that will just through the budget out.
Also going to leave my hours and stuff as they are but ask if i can have first dibs on any overtime there may be and my fella will try and get some weekend work in (and get paid!!!!!)
i am just so glad now that i upped the overdraft as i think we will be needing it till we are back on our feet and in the budget every month!!!!December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

Haven't popped in this week properly, sorry to hear DS2 has been ill! Doesn't sound like he was well at all!

I'm so sorry to hear about the tax credit issue. It's ridiculous I agree, and I don't even have children yet! This issue gets my back up. I won't go into it, because my view on politics will get me booted off the board.

Thanks hun, its going to be tight for a while..................all fun and games.
Have sat the oh down and gone through (as best i can) what we have to pay out and the money coming in and told him he can no longer spend in the garages. We have made a sort of pact that before we sit down after we have tidied up when the kids are in bed, we will be organised and do his lunch and get the kids stuff ready. saves time in the morning and he keeps sleeping in so doesnt get time to do a box.
We have both done a meal plan for next week so i know he can make the stuff set out when i am working and made a shopping list. Off i went to asda and stuck to my list and still spent over £60!!!!!! but that did include a big box of nappies and 12 toilet rolls (couldnt leave it, good deal. puppy toilet paper, 12 rolls for £4, asda's own for 12 rolls £4.50!!:T ) and a big pack of eggs ready for my massive baking mission. hoping next week it wont be as much.............................................. felt a little stupid going round with my list, untill i took a look round and everyone had one!!!!! :rotfl:
loving scanning my shopping though, just need to remember to scan the reciept tomorrow and send it. I have got a link for people to apply to do the shop and scan thing, pm if you want it. (dont want to get into trouble if post on here)
I have sold an item on ebay and only listed it yesterday!!!!!:j my fleecy cat radiator bed, £3 buy it now (bin). think i only paid £5 in the sale a while ago so not much of a loss. Have got 2 watchers on my other bin item (another cat bed) and a watcher on a top. not bad going for only listed for 2 days!!!! never got round to sorting through and photographing the rest of the stuff due to massive stress and melt down this morning and ds2 being unsettled this afternoon. might get the oh involved over the weekend.
going to sell the dvd/cd re-writer as a bin as new pooter has one in built, and gonna try selling the baby carrier as a bin too.
think i will def say today has been an eye opener, and have a renewed determination to go forward and not get any more debt. means that my doors WILL have to wait as will a new car as we really cant afford anymore monthly payments. once ds1 is in school, will save the money saved in childcare for my doors as will need them before next winter.....December 2018: £20,850.24. Hi Rags
Am so glad the tax credits look better for you now, your SOA looks do-able and you certainly seem determined to suceed. I got teething powders and gel yesterday, and my boy slept from 8pm to 6.45am, no night time tears with his teething yay!!!!
You're doing so well with your ebaying and stuff, and your diary has inspired me to start one of my own (been a member on these boards for a few years but never brave enough to post a diary in case no b*gger read it lol)
So thanks for the mammy advice and the motivation
