There was a couple left in Currys Ipswich (Copdock) yesterday after I got mine. PC World right next door and they GA'ed one for me, very helpful, the manager sent a bloke next door to grab one!

Is there anyone in the West Midlands that would be willing to do this on my behalf...am not very confident when it comes to talking, so would probably be laughed out the shop if I mentioned anything about a GA.
  • Managed to get mine a couple of days ago after a lot of negotiating, even more contradictions, and a hundred mile round trip, but got there in the end! As of last Thursday, there were 3 at Currys Bristol (Fishpond) and 9(!) at Bristol High Street Dixons.

I'd recommend the PC World at Cribbs Causeway for the GA, the manager there was the most helpful person I'd spoken to throughout my search, and I went to a lot of stores!

If anyone needs a compact flash memory card for this then Play.com do a 4GB Sandisk for £14.99, better still PC World have them for £39.13 for extreme II and £55 ish for extreme III,(sorry, just tried to check actual prices but the site is currently down for maintenance). they say they dont price match Play.com anymore but I pointed out a giant poster saying they do and they let me have it for £11.63.
Anyone know of a good camera bag for this?

Just a reminder, that with the Olympus camera, you need an Olympus memory card to use the Panorama function.

I have ordered this 2GB XD from play.com, which at £11.99 seemes to be the best buy for an Olympus card.

Like Redmikee I'm after a camera bag too. Did someone mention Argos had one?

    I bought a 4GB off ebay for £9.99. Works like a dream!
  • Alas, the deal now seems to have run it's course. PC World in Weston-s-Mare had one display camera left, but had lost the box with the lenses! (as had the Gloucester store apparently). They could see no stock at other PC Worlds. Their website is no longer advertising the E410, and the manager I spoke with was not up for getting one from Currys or Dixons (plentiful stock!).

Thanks, I wasn't aware of this, just to clarify does it have to be an olympus card? or will any XD card work?

Wow, My girlfriend managed to find one for me after about a week of me searching! Chuffed to death, although she isnt certain that it came with two lenses or not. (Cant say im botherd, still an absolute bargain)

If anyone is in the (sort of) area, I think she said there was one left at Mansfield store of Currys.

    Thanks go to the OP.

Gotta buy some gear to go with it now :)
