It's worth getting a Compact Flash for this camera - I got a 4gb Sandisk Ultra II for £13 from amazon.co.uk

Compact Flash are much quicker than XD cards - XD cards can seriously slow down shot to shot time. http://wrotniak.net/photo/43/xd.html

@ sparky1, that case is massive, any other cases please or sparkey do you have this case , I dont want gp the hong kong way like dealextreme as it takes for ever

I do have the case. Fits my camera with one lens attached plus another safely. Other accessores also in there. Fine for my kit.

I have the E Series case from Argos is perfect size for everything and was £17.99 I think.

thanks guys, I got my cf card, time to charge the battery and take pics, seems like most you are storing the cameras as gifts for others.

Come on lets use them and take photos <<<<goes out gets wet sits in front of the heater trying the manual focus...

To all those hunting for the training DVD;
I phoned Olympus customer service up on 01923 831100 option 4, and said that it had the sticker on the box, but the guy in Currys couldn't find it, so please could I have one from you. Certainly, they are back in stock next week, and we will send one out to you as soon as. Hope this helps.

Price is £23.85 with 2-3 days postage.

Currys/PC world were clearing them at £9.77 recently but difficult to find stock.

Reasonable size bag and £50+ elsewhere.

2 Batteries and a charger (mains and car, plus adaptor) for less than £14 (inc delivery) - www.ebay.co.uk item/listing number 110341006615. Received within 7 days from Hong Kong.

Please note (for those who don't know about mAh values etc - for anyone purchasing batteries, look carefully at the "mAh" value (make sure this is as high as possible, this means it holds more charge), the ones above are 1800mAH, but others I've seen are as low as 720mAH.

Case/Bag - I've bought a semi-ridgid small bag, found in the family section at IKEA for £7.49, it accomodates the E410, 2*lens, and accessories perfectly.

Aaaaaand- guess what turned up today? Thats right, said DVD. Very in-depth as well, so glad I got it.:money:
