Looks like a different system in USA, a big retailer Circuit City went into administration pre Xmas, they are now closing stores and TV announcer was urging people to use thier gift vouchers pre closure0

Not a chance. HMV will have bought the stores without any debt from Zavvi.
Same thing happened to me with Red Letter Days. When they went bust and were bought out by two of the other Dragons of Dragons Den all of the accounts with credit on them were wiped clean. Cost me £200.
And now history repeats with Zavvi to the tune of £110.
I think i need to learn a lesson....0 -

I had an email off zavvi today to say they had relaunched online as of yesterday. To celebrate they're offering 10% off all products until 6th March. There is something delicious about writing the first words of a story. You never quite know where they'll take you - Beatrix Potter0

I doubt very much they will be honoring any vouchers, a company called “The Hut” has simply bought the domain name and rights to trade as Zavvi online. Products for sale will be exactly the same as the ones on “The Hut” I would imagine.0
