Dave,
The filenames you have are correct, they were changed in the latest version of the software to VirtComNG.dll and VirtComMgr.exe but the install instructions are for the previous version. I found the same thing but all worked OK with the install.
As regards pasting into the Windows folder, I found it easiest to do using Microsoft ActiveSync. Once connected to the PDA, use the "Explore" button on ActiveSync to drag and drop as you would any Windows program. Hope this helps.0 -
So the files names are correct. I have connected th PPC using activesync and clicked "Explore" then "My Windows Based Mobile Device" then opened the "Windows" folder. I cannot drag n drop, or copy and paste, it will not allow mw to do this, any ideas as to what is going on here.

I have just purchased a Medion MDPPC 150 from Somerfield in Cannock and being a complete novice I need some advice on possible upgrades/downloads.
My PPC has Medion Navigator 4.4 – is it possible to upgrade to v 5.0? If so can v 5.0 give speed camera warnings/POI?
If I have to stick with v 4.4 what’s the best way to get the most from it, and can you have speed camera warnings/POI?
What are the cost implications involved with all the processes if any?

Hi Jimmy
I think all of the answers you need can be found by trawling through this post, I bought the Micromaxx version from Kwiksave in Rugeley and this comes with Medion Navigator 5. I have tried to install the POI program show that speed cams etc are alerted to you as you approach them. But I have not had much success. I went into the Rugeley Kwiksave store 2 days ago 21.02.06 and currently they are selling a stand alone GPS Speed cam notification system for £40 made by Talex. so I'm thinking of buying one of these.

DO NOT BUY THE TALEX!
You need to spend another £40 to buy the add-on accessories to allow you to download updates.
Waste of money.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
