Yes, it does, but only on the car connector for some reason! The right hand side outer 'clip' bends out too far!
Had several of these so far!! (our oldest Mio168 is 2 and a half years old)British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
I installed TomTom5 on my MDPPC150 and it worked once I installed the fix thats mentioned near the beginning of this thread called 'cemonitor' (but it was a bit temperamental sometimes). However recently I have been getting "No GPS Signal" making the thing useless.
Ive done everything to overcome this - checked my settings (all correct), reset the damned thing several times (using switch on the back and the one on the side), run 'cemonitor' (and got a reading with this), laid the thing out in the middle of my garden for 10/20/30/40 minutes etc., several times with antennae open, set the NMEA command to 1,1,2,2,5,0,5,0,1,0, (as recommended).
What do I do? What can I do? Ive considered forgetting the TomTom5 software and going back to the original (?medion) software but I need the 7 digit postcode recognition that TomTom offers and anyway I dont feel that this is necessarily the problem. Help me please0 -

All,
As the MicroMax has Internet Explorer, I'm presuming it is possible to get a wireless SD card, and be able to surf the internet from Wi-Fi hotspots/internet cafes.
Anyone got any recommendations about any SD Wi-fi cards that work?
Is it straight forward to surf the net using one of these cards?
Can anyone point me in the direction of any guides that will tell me how I use them at a Wi-fi hotspot?
Thanks0 -
Where is the cheapest place to get one of these now?
Thanks Tom :-)0 -
hey guys, for some reason my micromaxx pda has become like the medion one, i.e. i don't get an indication how many satellites have been locked onto, and says 0 satellites, however tomtom still works and can find me...... another thing that messed up was when i was using it in the car and driving somewhere the pda kept thinking I was 40 metres away to the left.... it kept loosing my position and thought i was in a ditch somewhere, this happened about 10 times..... i had to stop the car, stop navigation and switch the unit on and off... then it started working like normal again...
any ideas?
I have not done anything to it or done a hard reset for a month.... and the battery has not completely drained at all.... this time a month ago everything was working perfectly....
oh yeh that charger problem with the medion is the same on my cousins, luckily I was able to bend the clip so it does not stick out, and did not break when i had to force it off the pda.....0 -
Charged the Micromaxx for 24 hrs, switched it on and started to play with it.
What a brill bit of kit :j
10 minutes later the low battery warning came on.
What!!!!!!!
Checked the battery status and it was showing less than 50%.
Switched off and went to sleep, it'll be alright in the morning says Bubba.
Switched on this morning and tried to use the MP3 player - warning about not enough battery power to open it.
Bubba is not a happy bunny
PPC on charge again and better work properly this time as Bubba has no desire to upset the nice peeps on the Medion Customer helpline.

Hope it's not necessary, but Medion's helpline is an 0870 number. The real number is 01793 715699 and gets you through to exactly the same place.0 -

Hey thanks for the alternate number PNEfan. I'm gonna play around with it some more this weekend and if it's not improved then I can phone from work on Monday, which wouldn't have been an option until you gave me that number cause our phone system bars calls to non-geographical numbers.
Cheers,
